Predoctoral researcher
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of León (2022), and a Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Málaga (2023), where I specialized and developed a special interest in neuroscience. In 2024 I was awarded a FPI fellowship to conduct my PhD thesis in Neurobiology Lab under Carlos Matute and Alberto Pérez’s supervision. My research focuses on unravelling the role of myelin as an energetic support for action potential and synaptic transmission in the healthy brain and in multiple sclerosis, by mainly employing electrophysiological techniques.
